It is almost here, a time of year that college students count down the days, hours to the minutes; official Winter Break! In celebration of the end of a semester, Rockhouse Bar & Nightclub will kick off the month-long vacation and throw a “Trade in Your Books” party during to celebrate College Wednesdays on Dec. 14.

For every unwanted book, students will receive a Jaeger Bomb or tequila shot in return. Any student with a valid college ID will also receive a discounted open bar from 9 p.m. until midnight. The team that brings in the most canned goods will be rewarded with an hour-long open bar from 11 p.m. until midnight. All donations will benefit ThreeSquare.

For each donation, the party bar will compensate revelers with drinks, drinks and more drinks. Party-goers that donate one canned good will receive one complimentary well cocktail or draft beer, while 10 canned goods will be compensated with a $10 all-you-can-drink open bar from 10 p.m. until midnight.
